We offer a prototype and development service backed by over 37 years of in-house model making. The Aquabat drive components pictured are parts of a thrust vectoring system produced by Circle Design and Develpoment in conjunction with Motor Technology and AquaTechnology. Accuracy and attention to detail was crucial during the prototype stage with tight tolerances maintained.

Mechanism for a submersible
Prototype Submersible produced for Aquatechnology Ltd The body shell was produced directly from the CAD using stl data to make one quarter section and then taking silicone casting of the sla model and then making four castings to form the complete bodyshell. The prototype has four, two axis oscillating fin units. The four opposite units are mechanically synchronised and arranged to balance both torque and reaction forces. A single motor drives the whole craft. A change in fin pitch alters the thrust vector wherever it is on it's orbit. The fins sweep a large area compared to a prop. This gives the craft good torque and thrust at low speeds.
